"I Thought Heaven Was a Place on Earth" is a compilation of original and culturally significant found footage featuring depictions of violence, art, worship, and place from a contemporary perspective. The self-composed music speaks to ideas of self-determination and liberation, and asks, "What are we truly willing to give and give up?”
